Newsletters

Dear Sisters,

We are excited to begin our monthly newsletters! We hope to keep you well-informed and able to plan ahead for the many events happening within our Relief Society, Ward and Stake.

As a newly formed presidency, we have qui kly come to feel a deep love and concern for you sisters in our ward. We understand that these profound feelings are a miraculous extension of the perfect love felt for us by our perfect Savior. We can feel it, and want you to know we do. We love you!

Boyd K. Packer once said, "Strong Relief Societies carry a powerful immunizing and healing influence...." As a Relief Society Presidency we have been praying for the inspiration to know how to strengthen our Relief Society. The answer we received was powerful!

In the beautiful hymn 'As Sisters in Zion' we sing,

The errand of angels is given to women;

And this is a gift that, as sisters, we claim:

To do whatsoever is gentle and human,

To cheer and to bless in humanity's name.

It is not enough to sing it. We must DO it! As we become ANGELS on the Lord's errands, to cheer and to bless one another, we will see and feel the powerful influence Boyd K. packer promised. We look forward to a year of Errands and the blessings we will receive as we heed these promptings!
